When we delivered to our local coal yard this morning, they passed us over these leaflets of the upcoming ban on wet wood, bituminous coal and some smokeless fuels in all homes in England. ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

Though we agree 100% with the ban of wet wood and working to improve the environment, there will be major impacts to a lot of our customers that are unaware of the ban. ๐Ÿชต

Currently, another 7,600 signatures are needed for this petition to be responded to by the government. We do not have the biggest following on our FaceBook Page, though If you were to read this and sign the petition, this could make a great dint into the numbers. ๐Ÿ–Š

Although the Quality Dried Logs FaceBook page isnโ€™t overly active, we are out on the timber yard working & delivering every day come rain or shine (mostly rain โ˜”๏ธ).

This picture shows our current Posch machinery set up; log deck onto the processor, conveyor belt into the log cleaner and then the finished log product is either transferred into bags/cages or stored in our shed ready for any deliveries. ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฒ

So in the last few weeks weโ€™ve set up our new Posch Log Fix S which is designed to clean the logs once they have been split by the processor. This now means that there should be little to no waste in any loads that we deliver; ensuring a cleaner product! ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒฒ

Just to let all our customers, new and old, know; we have had some technology teething problems this week. Now I admit, I am not the best at technology as it is, but today I have had to replace my business phone. This does mean that Iโ€™ve lost a lot of my customers phone numbers! So please, if your messaging us for orders, donโ€™t be offended if we have to ask who you are ๐Ÿฅด.

I hope to try and figure out my tech issues and resolve the loss of phone numbers. Also, if you have messaged us in the last few days, I wouldnโ€™t have been able to reply but will now get back to everyone that I can.
