Today is a significant date commemorating Charles and Ray . August 21st marks the passing of each of the two designers, one decade apart (Charles in 1978 and Ray in 1988). The Eameses spent 38 years together, honing their craft and deep love and admiration for one another as partners in business and life.

You name it this Victorian mahogany tilt-top table has seen it! Huge amounts of fading, discolouration, splits, veneer chips, missing hardware. Nothing we can’t handle but Frank was pretty exasperated!!

Removed the blush from this lovely Gianni Moschatelli desk in-situe for .a.a.d, the damage is caused by steam permeating the polish and leaving water vapour behind.

Called in on an emergency leg fitting job. This buttoned wingback and footstool had nasty plastic legs. Father Christmas would not approve!

In 2016 & again in 2018 I was afforded the opportunity to work in Buckingham Palace for on the banisters of the Grand staircase, the Minister’s stairs and doors into the inner Quadrangle. Now it’s written in history as restoration for the Royal household during the reign of HRH Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Rest in peace.

Common issues I come across in furniture restoration; sun bleaching, deep scratches and ring marks. All can be corrected and your furniture will look just like the day it was born!
