Digging the holes for the concrete pads. I’ve gone for 16 pads - a 4x4 grid basically. It might be overkill but I only plan on doing this once so I want to make it right.

With the grass gone I could mark out the workshop area and use a line to get an idea of the ground level for the workshop.

After a bit of a delay in updating the process of building my workshop, here’s the next step…

With the slabs clear it was time to start digging, I cleared all the grass over a couple of days.

My website is now live and I’m officially open for commissions.
This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for me and Idle Hands Furniture.
I currently take on work including fitted shelving, small alcove units and storage, home office and study furniture, cupboards and boxing-in, door and window repairs, alterations to existing fitted furniture, and bespoke commissions.
