Opening hours are subject to weather conditions, therefore it is advisable to call to check availability. Fleetwood Beach Wheelchairs KAVS, is a registered, non-funded, nonprofit-making charity based in Fleetwood, which provides specialised beach wheelchairs, free of charge, so that anyone needing a chair to access the beach can do so. The charity is run by volunteers. At present we have eleven specialised wheelchairs and two beach rollators, a hoist and an extensive range of equipment to ensure our clients are comfortable and safe to access the beach. All Donations are gratefully received to keep this unique charity running:

Hi guys, from the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of Matty, he had a fab time and so did we.

The enjoyment he got through not just travelling over the sand, pebbles and the sea and the enjoyment was priceless to us.

We visited Fleetwood last Wednesday, and coincidentally chatted with two lovely chaps (Steve & Mick), and we were able to take a de-bug for a quick stroll on the beach. We really appreciated the impromptu opportunity and the kindness shown. Attached are a couple of photos, and the smile on Delores' face says it all! Apologies to Mick that we didn't capture him in a photo - next time Mick!
