The Antiques & Home shop is owned and managed by experienced local dealer, Sarah Barber selling a wide variety of goods. In addition to the main stock, the centre has cabinets in which you can browse wares supplied by traders from throughout the region. The

This is one of the hardest posts that I have ever had to write.

Our shop will be closing down. This is due to various reasons but the biggest one has to be the huge financial pressures we have faced like so many businesses this last few years to the point where it has become unsustainable.

I am open this coming Friday and Saturday but Saturday 19th is my last trading day.

This shop has been my whole life this last 11 years and has been built up from pretty much nothing. I have met so many amazing people over the years and lots have become good friends, you know who you are.

Thank you to all the people who have supported me, cabinet dealers and customers.

Shop window redone today but certainly not as easy as the last window change.

Seen as it is the time of year where the temperature starts dropping and there can be a chill in the air there are fenders, coal scuttles and fireside tools.

Also in stoneware flagons, a pancheon, an enamel storage container and antique copper pans.

Various ceramics are in the window, Doulton Thelwell, Beswick swan family, Sylvac and more.
