A high stick back Windsor armchair, with a double hoop, turned legs, stretchers & front arm supports. Made from ash with a well figured elm seat – there are ‘make-do-and-mend’ repairs with iron supports between the seat & arms and old repairs/screws to the leg/seat fixing. With a wonderful old painted & varnished finish which has a lovely worn dark colour and burnished surface.
English – probably Lincolnshire circa 1840.
