Our flagship display. ❤️
When we first started designing our showroom, we knew exactly what we didn't want: something that would feel dated in five years' time.
Instead, we chose a timeless, heritage-inspired paint colour called Elizabethan Red. It's a beautifully complex shade with rich red tones softened by hints of pink, reminiscent of the colours often found in Victorian and Edwardian homes.
From there, we began layering authentic materials and finishes. Burnished brass handles develop character over time, while the unlacquered brass tap will naturally age and patinate with use. These are living finishes that become even more beautiful as the years pass.
We added a classic DuPont edge to the worktop and designed the curved splashback behind the sink ourselves. The gentle, organic shape softens the space and creates a focal point that's a little unexpected.
Throughout the display, you'll find layers of texture: tongue-and-groove panelling, fluted glass, a ribbed Belfast sink, natural stone, aged brass and warm timber. Every element was chosen to work together, creating a space that feels collected rather than decorated.
Our inspiration rarely comes from trends.
It comes from years spent exploring National Trust properties, wandering through antique shops, browsing Norfolk auctions, collecting old interiors books and studying the details that have stood the test of time. We love finding inspiration in craftsmanship, nature and historic homes, then reinterpreting those ideas for modern living.
While we have a deep appreciation for traditional design, we're not interested in recreating the past. We prefer to blend the old with the new, creating interiors that feel both timeless and relevant.
Our red kitchen display is probably the best example of that philosophy — a modern classic that combines heritage influences with the practicality and performance expected from a contemporary kitchen.
