The Victorians loved carved Furniture it emphasised their desire for luxury and status,
Carvings of Exotic sea shells,Fruits,Foliage,Vines or as seen here Sunflowers were among there favourites.
This set of four Hall Chairs came into the workshop recently for full restoration of joints and a French Polish.

Mother of Pearl is probably one of the most difficult natural materials to work with,But if it is crafted well gives out a fantastic display of colours.
This Syrian Damascus side table ( circa 1920) was brought into the workshop recently with a lot of the Mother of Pearl missing And looking Fairly sad for itself,Fair to say it turned out well for the client.

Restoration on going to this Pullmans Train Carriage Which will be fit for a King or Queen or Poirot when finished .
This Beautiful Carriage carried Some of the most Important and most influential people in the country over the years and will Hopefully be back in service next year.
