Good Afternoon everyone, Jonnie’s funeral is at 11.30 on the 14th March at St Matts church in Exeter, Lower Summerlands, EX1 2LJ with a private burial at St Nicholas Church in Combe Raleigh afterwards followed by the wake at The Cranberry Farm Pub in cranbrook, no dark only bright colours please and no flowers apart from the family. Donations to Hospice Care and Marie Curie.

Please not there will be no parking at the church, as this will be reserved for the gccg and family to park.

P.s These flowers have been put into Combe Raleigh church.. thank you to the team there for this lovely tribute to Jonnie.

I have some very sad news to share, my darling “Jonnie” John Hatch sadly lost his fight with bowel cancer yesterday afternoon and went to be with his mum and dad and Jesus in heaven. We have been on a very difficult journey since November when “Jonnie” suddenly started being incredibly unwell. “Jonnie” was so brave and fought with everything he could but in the end his body gave up. I would like to give huge thanks to hospice care who enabled us to be able to have dignity with “Jonnie” at home, Marie currie for the night support, our wonderful NHS who provided us with community support. Abbey Ward and Yeo ward at the RDE who have supported us so wonderfully. Also our friends and family have rallied around us and we couldn’t have done this without their support and love. We have had some wonderful memories together and I will miss him terribly, but life must and will go on. There will be a funeral and a thanksgiving service at St Matts in Exeter. I am completely broken writing this, but he was a brave man who looked after his mum. He has looked after me and me him through out our 7 years of knowing each other and for this I am so grateful, we have wonderful pictures to look back at, give your loved ones a huge hug today, as “Jonnie and I” would say buy the shoes, drive the car and do it today and don’t put it off. Thanks for reading.. Matt, Raffy and Hudson… xx

Pergola Trellis hanging simply from a limed oak pole, and a recessed Roman blind allows the client’s ceramics and art to shine. To finish the scheme off, we’ve used Royal Crescent Perfect Emulsion to give this dining room in a Georgian house a contemporary lift.

Part of the upholstery journey is discovering what’s underneath. This little rocker was originally caned but the wood started to disintegrate and was subsequently upholstered over… you can see the holes for the caning have weakened. A little bit of tlc to the frame and the chair will be reupholstered for a new life

It’s some 18 year since this little sofa was reupholstered for this long-standing client and it has made its way through 4 houses since. Jack is the 3rd dog to curl up in comfort on it, so it was looking a little tired. We’ve removed the old Jane Churchill check and the dated skirt and recovered it with Rouen chenille to compliment the colours in this snug, and a cushion we made earlier in Tulipa Stallata. New turned wood feet fitted for a more contemporary look. Not sure Jack will be allowed on it just yet, but I think he may yet find a way 🤣
