About us

Translating a customer's ideas into a finished piece leads to the creation of unique items that can't be found on the High Street. Mat Askham aims to deliver handmade products that are simple in form, traditional in construction, yet contemporary in design.

We work mainly in hardwoods which are from managed sources, and also work with reclaimed softwoods. We also enjoy the challenges of making and combining different materials such as metals and glass.

We are always happy to discuss any ideas with customers in the showroom or workshop, or in the comfort of your own home.
