Wall mounted menu display for .The ash that was used to make the panel came from a property close to the meadows.this was made into shop sawn veneer then pressed on a ply core for stability. There is a 3mm slot at the top that allows the sample menu to slide in and out of the rebates that holds it in place.

I really enjoyed this project , the clients where great and the end results speak for itself!

Working closely with my clients, I designed and manufactured these units and peg board from reclaimed old growth pitch pine and valchromat.

The brief was to make a storage solution for there wellies, shoes, a bench to sit and a place to hang coats and scarfs within there vestibule area.

Using traditional style panel and frame joinery with a touch of contemporary design worked really well!

The pitch pine works blending in with the original architecture and the grey valchromat with there existing paint scheme.

I pushed myself with the joinery technique's used and I'm glad I did, always learning!have a look at my previous post to see some of the techniques used.

The wellie rack was crossed laminated to create strength and aesthetics. The pegboard is laminated valchromat with a ply and pitch pine core. This gave an amazing contrast when the peg holes where cut out!!

The coat pegs where my take on a shaker style, they came out a treat!

The timber selection process took a while to sift through for usable components. Where nails holes, splits, shakes used to be was filled with clear epoxy not to take away from it's characteristics.

The finished used was osmo wood protector and osmo polyx satin

I'm always very grateful to have an opportunity to create something special for my clients!

Designed and manufactured these table dividers for . Made from thermally modified timber (DuraWood). Hand made brass feet with a bronze/browning patina. These dividers came out a treat and have a really nice colour and tone to them!

The frames have been designed as flat pack which allows easy disassembly and storage. The joinery detail is a half lap joint with a walnut insert.

The metal bases were made by .sailer_fabrication they work great for the partitions and surroundings!thanks for fabricating them in a very short time frame!

Ash Timber supplied by , they were very quick in sorting the stock needed as I couldn't go and look through the stock. There customer service is always fantastic and highly recommended!

Finished this feature wall last week, very happy with the end result.This wall is 6.9m long by 2.65m high so units are not small. Will go back at a later stage to get some more photos.

The clients were great!They had a brief for this wall to tie in with there new kitchen in there extension.I worked closely with the clients on the design and details to achieve this and they are very happy with the outcome.

Used black Valchromat for this project. The main section are full length sheets at 3.6m long. All joints and corners are either internal,external or stopped mitres. That's was fun!!! Finish is a mix of Sumi ink and Osmo Matt.
