Very interesting this -

I see the NICEIC have added loads of contractors to their 'wall of shame' in the last month

The wall of shame is a list of companies who advertised to have NICEIC accreditation by displaying their logo

It is something I feel strongly about because if you are competent, it really isn't difficult to obtain membership and is misleading to clients. The type who do this that I have come across tend to carry out substandard and dangerous work

Please make sure when using trades companies they hold the relevant qualifications for the purpose of the job!

Using an NICEIC registered contractor means using a contractor assessed to latest industry standards.
