SITE PROGRESS 🦺👷🏻‍♀️

We’ve had an exciting week on site at our new build project in Berkshire. 3 years in the making, all that pouring over our computer screens designing a house where every single aspect was bespoke is finally paying off as the finished product starts to reveal itself. A few more weeks and we will be crossing the finish line. So much love to all the brilliant team on site, the most cheerful and brilliantly skilled decorating team who kindly made time for us while they took a break from decorating the King’s room at Windsor Palace! The wonderful James, the most patient and accommodating site manager we’ve ever worked with, our lovely AC guy who elected himself the tea lady, Elliot who valiantly rangled tiny lights into tinier spaces and all the rest. Can’t wait to cross the line with you all! Especially our lead designer who has worked so blooming hard on this little monster! 👹

Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet…🍎
This project is the product of one of the loveliest client relationships I have had the joy to know. We first met in 2018 and each year we chipped away at a different room in the house. We took it slowly, we did it properly and a home that had raised two boys, now men became the sophisticated journey through colour and comfortable home it is today, ready for the next chapter. Always open to new ideas and unexpected direction, generous with their time and coffee - it’s been a joy! Here are some shots of the principal bedroom, sultry jewel tones paired with fresh crisp woodwork and textured walls create a moody but fresh cocoon of a sleep room.

WATER CLOSET WALLPAPER. 🚽The smallest room in the house is the perfect place to use wallpaper. Keep it low key with a subtle ticking or a small motif or just go for it mismatched patterns and bold colours. Whatever you do - do SOMETHING! No room goes forgotten.

Happy Monday Friends. May this Monday be the start of a new period of renewed energy as the weather hauls its sorry ass into Spring. I just want to get my ankles out, is that too much to ask? We have been very hard at work at Fantoush, so much so that I haven’t even had time to upload all the lovely photos of our Yorkshire Farmhouse project on to the website and I’ve had them for 7 months 🙈 Here is the lovely kitchen we designed with - as featured in last month 🙌🏼
