WE'RE HIRING!!! and looking for one or two permanent, full-time experienced POWDER COATING SPRAYERS.
Enquiries are also welcomed from those with wet-spraying experience.
Possible position for trainee or improver for the right candidate.
Salary negotiable (dependent on experience) + overtime (sometimes required at short notice and always available - evenings and/or weekends). You can expect to easily earn upwards of £35,000.00 per year with the overtime available.
MORE DETAILS:
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and one who takes pride in their work. You will be based in a busy team carrying out duties relating to the powder coating of architectural metalwork, spraying and must be willing to learn to shot blast as well.
Main duties will include:
Check items on purchase orders to ensure they match the metalwork given
Flag any differences to the foreman
Prep items for powder coating - ranging from aluminium extrusion and mild steel to galvanised architectural metalwork.
Load the conveyor
Powder spraying
Check items after powder coating for defects and take necessary corrective action
Count items and record measurements on job sheets
Unload the conveyor and pack/load onto pallets for despatch to customers
Lift heavy objects into a truck and onto the ground
Occasional Shot Blasting to cover sickness, days off and holidays - metalwork (railings, gates etc.) prior to being powder coated
You will need to be fit and very strong.
We often have to work to very tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate for the Powder Coating Sprayer will be an enthusiastic, confident and hard-working individual who takes pride in their work. You will be based in a busy team and some of the key duties will include:
- preparation of metal components and assemblies prior to painting
- powder spraying
- loading and unloading of the conveyor and checking quality and finish
Items to be coated range from aluminium extrusion and mild steel to galvanised architectural metalwork.
Fast-paced production environment. Sometimes working to tight deadlines; some heavy lifting involved.
HOURLY RATE £10 - £12 p/hr DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE.
