There's alot of love for the bathroom wall panels at the minute, I have a great contact for these panels, really good value and are the stronger great quality panels. This toilet room is greatly modernised by these great looking grey panels. The second recent job was a failed shower due to poor installation methods, the old ripped out , sorted the substrate out and replaced with these white panel with the vein a great looking shower room now.

Do your research on tradespeople as much as you can!
I was asked to service a Boiler last week and what i turned up to was probably the worst install ive ever seen! I just cant believe anyone could leave work of this standard, be happy to get paid and walk away!
1. The boiler isn't even level, not just a little bit , but massively.
2. Unservicable, due to the case not being able to be removed, which meant if a warranty call was needed, the manufacturer wouldn't have touched it.
3. Manufacturer bracket bent to accommodate pipework, that much the boiler had started to dangerously pull away from the wall- not allowed.
4. Gas pipe not sleeved fully through the wall- it was only half sleeved - not allowed.
5. Gas pipe not sealed in the property- not allowed.
These aren't just rules we are supposed ignore, these are regulations that should be followed for a reason, for safety.
While I won't name and shame the company involved, I do hope he sees this and starts to take more pride in his work!

Replacing this digital shower as the existing brand (vado)have gone bust so replacement parts wasn't available. Your always safe with a reputable company like Mira, this unit comes with a 5yr warranty. Sourced a back plate as this hand unit was smaller, but all blends in nice, really impressive of what it can do, voice commands but yes ultimately it gives nice hot water to shower in.

The landlord of this rental property has had an expensive redo of the shower area, due to poor installation. I'm not sure I've seen plasterboard breakdown so bad, but also due to the Tennant not reporting a leak straight away , the timbers below were completely ruined so also needed to be sorted . Sealing and tanking is an absolute must on wet areas, water penetrates through grout, cracks and broken down silocane.

Wow, wow, wow..... so lucky to be working with great materials and fantastically thought out and well designed bathrooms...

Wow, wow, wow..... so lucky to be working with great materials and fantastically thought out and well designed bathrooms!! This is a HUUUGE bedroom en-suite shower room and compliments the house beautifully. The shower tray fell great, avoiding any floor joists, which meant we could get the tray flat to the floor, making it look so sleek. Fully tanked out to waterproof, then we laid this absolutely amazing 600x1200 tile, not the easiest to work with but all came together so well, installing the matching units, then we sourced some lovely oak for the worktop and window cill. I'm happy with the finish and the customer is over the moon with it all.

It's one of my all-time favourites this one! An amazing sized room utilising all the space. In the beginning, it was riddled with problems. The shower area hadn't been used for a very long time due to the leaks from the poorly installed shower tray. Again, the walls where tiles had been put wasn't protected, and so water had damaged the plaster, made easy removal, though! The floor was totally ruined due the constant leaking water. Back to basics and my usual strip back, making everything solid and waterproof, then laying some really nice tiles that compliment each other really well. Also, some very good quality materials to work with. The bath was solid - a great family bath, filling the room perfectly.
