We recently had the pleasure of working on a clientβs Vauxhall Zafira, which came in with a couple of issues. The hand brake wasnβt releasing properly, and there was a persistent coolant level warning on the dashboard, even though the coolant levels were fine.
After a thorough inspection, we identified the root causes:
1. Hand Brake Issue: The rear left and right brake cables were worn and needed replacement.
2. Coolant Level Warning: The expansion tank sensor was faulty.
Our skilled mechanic team got to work and replaced the rear left and right brake cables, ensuring the hand brake functioned smoothly again. We also installed a new expansion tank, resolving the incorrect coolant level warning on the dash.
Now, the Zafira is back on the road, safe and sound, with all issues resolved!
