We recently had the pleasure of working on a client’s Vauxhall Zafira, which came in with a couple of issues. The hand brake wasn’t releasing properly, and there was a persistent coolant level warning on the dashboard, even though the coolant levels were fine.

After a thorough inspection, we identified the root causes:

1. Hand Brake Issue: The rear left and right brake cables were worn and needed replacement.
2. Coolant Level Warning: The expansion tank sensor was faulty.

Our skilled mechanic team got to work and replaced the rear left and right brake cables, ensuring the hand brake functioned smoothly again. We also installed a new expansion tank, resolving the incorrect coolant level warning on the dash.

Now, the Zafira is back on the road, safe and sound, with all issues resolved!

The BMW 320d is known for its performance and sleek design, but even the best cars can face issues, especially after sitting for a long time. When you were called to change the battery, it seemed routine, but things took a turn when the car wouldn't start and began throwing numerous error codes. Starting with the under-the-hood ECU and wiring was a logical first step, but the surprise came when you discovered the corroded top mount rear strut, which had punctured the wiring harness above it in the boot.
