WE ARE HIRING!
We are looking to recruit a Yard Operative to join us at our premises in Inverkip, working with a small but dedicated team in a role crucial to our operations.
The role will consist of:
• Responsibility for our woodchip drying operations.
• Loading trucks for customer deliveries.
• Transit van customer deliveries.
• Monitoring and filling on-site boiler fuel stores.
• Maintaining plant and equipment
• Keep yard clean and tidy.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required.
What we need from you:
• Full driving licence
• Forklift license (desired but not essential.)
• Agricultural/mechanical experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work within a small team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident in the use of handheld devices.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Happy to work outside all year round.
• Assisting with operational challenges to ensure smooth operations.
• A reasonable level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
