Paula from for my 2nd post of the takeover.
To expand a little on what i do:
Armchairs, wingback chairs, dining chairs, footstools, headboards...the list goes on and as i said before, no two projects are the same.
The item is stripped back as far as is required, often to the frame. A lot of antiques, some more modern, they might be sprung..or not, in need of a comfier seat..or not. Regardless, every project is taken back to the base stuffing and given a fresh layer and beautiful new fabric top.
As well as working on clients' projects, a highlight of my job is teaching others. I run regular weekend, as well as 6-8week long term time classes. Mostly in the classroom area in , where students bring their own projects to work on, and also footstool workshops
All details are on my website and early booking is advised as spaces fill up quickly.
I'd be happy to chat about projects that you have in mind to commission, projects you'd love to learn how to do yourself in class or just show off the beautiful array of fabric sample books that i have in the studio. Pop into studio 7 on 6/7th June.
