Happy Easter all! Four weeks today and the Artisan Craft & Food Fayre will be in full swing at the BA Barn, Lyne of Skene, AB32 7DA. Sunday 3rd & Monday 4th May from 10 am - 4 pm. 40+ independent Scottish traders, tea room, ample free parking. There is something rather exciting being held at the BA Barn this May Bank Holiday weekend! In collaboration with the community-led charitable organisation The Walled Garden - Cluny Community Garden the BA Barn is hosting a very special Artisan Craft & Food Fayre on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May. Thirty plus stands with unique handmade crafts, delicious original artisan food and drink from independent Scottish traders passionate about their product. Entry fee is £2.50 per person (12 years and under free) with free parking outside the Barn. The Barn's upstairs tea room will be open for hot drinks and lovely tasty treats. Pop the dates in your calendar and please join us for a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and local flavour!

Tomorrow is the last opportunity to see Santa and his cheeky elves at the BA Barn, Lyne of Skene, Dunecht. The Barn opens at 10 am, closing at 3 pm. Lots of lovely stands at the BA Barn this weekend, Mary Eve Jewellery, Creative Quine, toys, wood working, La Bomba BC, local honey, Sweet Tooth Treats, crystals, dreamcatchers, Scentsy gifts, Up in the Air, Balloons by Lucy and more! Santa visits (no booking required), cheeky elves, train rides, Christmas displays, Chef's Shack in the car park, hot drinks and tasty treats in our cafes. Oh the weather outside may be frightful but inside the BA Barn it's so delightful!! Come along to the BA Barn, Lyne of Skene, Dunecht, open from 10 am until 5.30 pm. No booking required for Santa visits. Train rides, hot drinks, tasty treats and lots of Christmas cheer. This weekend we have fab stalls selling everything from balloons, toys, wood working, local honey, gorgeous smellies, personalised gifts, children's clothes and more! A very festive day out for all the family.

A wee reminder that the BA Barn will be closing at 3.30 pm this afternoon (Thursday 4th December) to allow the lovely team from Friends of Anchor to set up for the event this evening. The Barn will, however be open today at 10 am until 3.30 pm for Santa visits, Christmas train rides, hot drinks and tasty treats in our downstairs cafe. Opening/closing times back to normal tomorrow 10 am until 5.30 pm. Hope to see you there!

We are delighted to be hosting a magical Friends of Anchor evening this Thursday, 4th December. Please note that in order for the Friends of Anchor team to set up for their special guests, the BA Barn will be closing at 3.30 pm. A huge BA thank you to all who visited the BA Barn on our opening day. Thank you also for your lovely comments on how festive the Barn is looking and how much the children enjoyed their Santa visits. The BA Barn opens tomorrow Saturday 29th November with Santa and his elves arriving at 10 am. We will remain open every day up to and including Christmas Eve. We have fab stands this weekend, jewellery, woodwork, balloons, crystals, dream catchers, toys, local honey, gorgeous smellies, cakes, doggie treats and more! Santa visits, cheeky elves, hot drinks and tasty treats, Christmas displays, train rides and more. On the B977 Kintore to Dunecht road, the BA Barn is well worth a visit. A fab, magical, Christmas day out for all the family.
