Project Spotlight: Duncan and Todd – Overgate, Dundee

We were delighted to be approached by Duncan and Todd Group to design, manufacture, and install a bespoke retail kiosk for their team within the Overgate Shopping Centre, Dundee.

From the initial consultation in our Design Hub & Showroom, through concept development, detailed product design, manufacturing, and final installation, our team managed the entire process from start to finish.

The brief was to create a professional, eye-catching kiosk that would:

✔ Showcase the Duncan & Todd brand prominently
✔ Provide a functional and welcoming customer interaction space
✔ Display products effectively within a compact footprint
✔ Integrate seamlessly into the busy shopping centre environment

The result is a bespoke solution that combines strong branding, practical functionality, and a clean, modern aesthetic.

🌍 Earth Day 2026

Sustainability isn’t a trend. It’s a responsibility.

In our industry, the impact of what we specify, supply, and install goes far beyond the finished space. Every product carries a story, from raw materials and manufacturing, to transport, lifespan, and end of life.

At Spaces Taylored, we’re actively challenging the “buy new” mindset by focusing on:
♻️ Refurbishment and reupholstery
🌱 Sustainable product sourcing
📊 Reducing embodied carbon
🔄 Designing for longevity and reuse

So far this year, we’ve processed 10+ tonnes of furniture, keeping it in circulation through reuse and refurbishment rather than disposal.

That’s not just waste avoided. It’s a meaningful carbon reduction:
🌱 5+ tonnes of CO2e saved as a conservative baseline
…and significantly more when compared to manufacturing new.

Because creating better spaces shouldn’t come at the cost of the environment.

Earth Day is a reminder.
