The Wooden House Hand made furniture and accessories designed and made in our own workshop. The Wooden House sells chalk paints and matt furniture paints.

The cost of a sheet of Birch ply for making our very popular signs has almost doubled in the past year. Talking to other craftsmen it seems like many raw materials are on the same price trajectory.
This will mean a small rise in the price of our signs which will be back to full stock levels soon.

Our Story

The Wooden House in Wheelgate, Malton is becoming well known as a first stop for Handmade and free standing furniture, and household accessories and gifts. The Wooden house was originally based in Exchange St. Driffield but transferred everything to it’s Malton shop in January 2020.

The Wooden House has it's own workshop where we make furniture and smaller items, many of the items on sale in the shop have been designed by Kelvin Lund and made in the workshop.
