Our regular monthly Artisan 👩‍🎨 Market returns to the County Town on Saturday 20th June 🤗

A great range of local producers will be attending and we will also have some live music 🎶 .. the county Fleadh is also taking place over the market weekend and we just might have some traditional Irish music performers for entertainment ☘️🎻

Come and enjoy a hot ☕️ & or a hotdog 🌭 or burger 🍔 -

We are in full swing at today’s Artisan Market 🤗👏 here in the town square 👍

It’s a lovely spring day, definitely one of the better days of the year so far 🤗👏🌞 the rain is staying away 🤞

Trading until 3.00pm, here in the town centre, come for a browse and enjoy live 🎵 music with the Mc Stay 👩‍🎨 whilst having a 🫖 ☕️, Dutch 🇳🇱 or maybe a 🌭 or 🍔

On this day, back in 2018 the first Artisan 🧑‍🎨 market in the County Town was hosted at the wonderful Down County Museum..

No-one knew how the market would evolve over the coming years and it’s fantastic to note that our 80th monthly market will be hosted on Saturday 16th May 2026 🤗👍👏 from our new location in St Patrick’s Square 🌞

Tens of thousands of people have visited the market over the past 8 yrs with over 70 different producers being involved in selling their artisan products at the previous 79 markets and we still have traders with us who attended those initial markets 🙂👏

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council also support two further town markets: Newcastle Artisan Market & Warrenpoint Artisan Market and both of these along with Downpatrick continue to thrive 🙂👏🤗

We look forward to the next 8 years 😇🙂
