BoConcept suite, GORGEOUS, owner has two beautiful doggos and lives right next to the beach. The brief. Removable covers. After much head scratching we decided together on a tight set of covers that could be removed and reapplied in sections. Client chose THE MOST BEAUTIFUL fabric, Linwood Orta in Chalk and I’ve had the best time patterning and sewing for these beauties. Final photos to come…❤️

This chair was the clients old and familiar, there was no replacing it just repairs as and when they were needed, so, I bought a hide to match as best we could and bit by bit will keep his favourite chair alive. Starting with a new seat, lots of unusual techniques to work with on this chair but I love the challenge

🍑 Comfy bums now extend to motorcycle seats! 🍑
This seat was just too firm and a little low for Malcolm.
2” of super soft foam added and shaped to fit and you’d never know it had been done. 🍑

One small but very conspicuous tear, one very guilty Labrador… I could have made a patch repair but the customer wanted better than that. I took the sofa apart, took the fabric from the carcass off, used some of the fabric from the back and re made the cover. As good as new, even mended some small holes and tears in the cushion covers for her.

Abdominal surgery, chickenpox, Easter holidays and very patient clients! We made it and it was a joy. This Venjakob dining suite was clearly a standout set when new but the vinyl that had been used had not stood the test of time, my clients sought out a beautiful hard wearing stain resistant leather in a gorgeous muted turquoise, this range is used in cafes a restaurants so it’s the perfect spec for a busy dining room with lots of grandchildren! One bench and seven chairs brought to life and made to last. I LOVE working with leather so please, any enquiries please get in touch! And thank you again to Simon and Claire.

Ahhhh new hide day, three hides of beautifully buttery leather in “Jade” although it’s a magical colour that morphs from green to aqua blue to grey.
This all for a uber cool and swanky Venjakob dining suite with failing vinyl. Owners have taken the bull by the horns (so to speak) and we’re going cow hide. This should see them lasting much better than the original vinyl did. They chose a wonderfully hard wearing range that should withstand the sun from the bifold doors, the stains from the dining and the play from the grandchildren. Keep your eyes peeled for progress shots!
