Many of our items are secondhand, retro, vintage or antique and not in "new" condition. Hi everyone! Just a quick hello to say we're back open today!

I also don't think I've ever shared a photo of myself before. So for those of you who have not been to us in person, or have been in on a day when our lovely Tracey has been here instead of me... hi!

I'm Hannah and I started our lovely Emporium with my amazing family just over 10 years ago now. It's set within our gorgeous old 1860s coach house, The Holly & Laurel, which we have owned for 30 years. The Holly & Laurel has been a part of my life since I was 12 years old (don't do the maths please)!

2026 has been, and continues to be, a tricky road health-wise for myself personally and for members of my family, and I know it's meant that I've not been able to dedicate as much time to the shop as normal, so huge apologies. But you've all been so supportive to us and we really REALLY appreciate it. Now, more than ever, support for local business is desperately needed and you guys are the reason we can continue to open our doors during what is a very difficult time for small family-run retail.

You may have seen that the showroom is a little more sparse than usual (whilst still having SO much stock but the shop is huge), but I promise that I and our dealers are working on it. There is also something coming soon which we'll need to make room for, so it's currently a delicate balance of making sure we'll have space!

In the meantime, I'm sending huge love to you all and we hope to see you in the showroom soon! 🥰

Tracey is off this week and unfortunately, due to a family health emergency, I won't make it in today but will keep you updated in case I have to close any other days too.
