Health dictates the sorts of pieces I do at any given time but anytime my hands allow it they’ve got a paintbrush in! Having become disabled after a failed spine operation in Feb 2016 after many years of pain I, Mrs.G, along with Mr.G who in the same year had spine surgery on his neck and found his lumbar spine is also permanently damaged (Can you believe it?!) life came to an absolute stand still

and everything was turned upside down. During this period of time we have had various appointments with professionals to be told that my body will not recover and my pain levels will continue to be sky high 24/7 and Lee's back in not fixable. Quite by accident we found we had a love for furniture painting having decided to vamp up a dressing table we already had and more importantly we have found something that can be done as a hobby for sanity saving purposes, as and when the body will allow it, with no pressure on time etc People have been loving and supportive of us as we have tried not to sink over the last year and we are now beginning to swim. It's wonderful to be able to share our hobby with the world at the same time as raising awareness about the value of creative therapy for sufferers of physical and mental health issues.
