Been doing a bit of Pyrography lately, the top one is a relief carving embellished with some Pyrography, the bottom one is just straight Pyrography. I have used Lime wood for the carved one and birch face ply for the other. Pyrography is a very relaxing pastime , I think I will do a. It more of it.😳

Just finished this Oak table for our local church. It is to support a large Perspex case over a model of Matthew Flinders ship. He was the first person to circumnavigate Australia, he was born in Donington, he died in Australia in 1814, his remains are coming back to Donington in July this year.

I making an Oak table (as pictured) it is 1.2 metres x 0.5metres, all solid with no laminations, with some decorative carving around the apron. I charged £750 for this, I was quite surprised when the customer said they felt that was cheap. What do you guys think it should be?
The lip on top is to hold a large plexiglass-glass case.
