60 Miles for Children with Cancer UK 💛

Throughout September, I’ll be walking 60 miles in support of Children with Cancer UK during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Around 10 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. Tragically, around two children will not survive their diagnosis each day. That’s why I’ll be walking 2 miles every day throughout September in their honour and to help raise vital funds for this incredible charity.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity for us all to come together, raise awareness and make a real difference to the lives of children and families affected by cancer.

By sponsoring my challenge, you’ll be helping Children with Cancer UK fund vital research, support families when they need it most, and work towards a future where every child and young person diagnosed with cancer has the chance to survive and thrive.

🚪 Another Home Transformation Complete in Doncaster! 🚪

Today we fitted 10 customer-supplied, pre-finished cottage-style doors, and what a difference they have made!

These doors are a fantastic way to completely transform the look and feel of a home. No matter how many of these we fit, I never get tired of seeing the finished result and the difference they make to each room.

But today’s job wasn’t just about transforming a home… ❤️

As part of our charity fundraising throughout September, we are also proud to have added another £10 to our Children with Cancer charity event.

Every job completed throughout our charity month is helping us get one step closer to our fundraising goal for this incredible cause.

So today we have done 9 Daytona oak doors in Doncaster.

Through these doors been done we have also added £10 to our children with cancer charity event.

Today my step count was a little poor just 2.1 miles added as I did not charge my watch fully. But every mile counts

After spending some time reading the stories on this incredible charity’s website, we knew straight away that this was something we wanted to be part of.

As a parent myself, I honestly can’t imagine hearing the words, “We’re so sorry, your child has cancer.” Even writing those words is enough to make me emotional.

As parents, our job is to protect our children, teach them right from wrong, and give them the best life we possibly can. We don’t always get everything right, but we do everything we can for them. To think of the families who receive such devastating news is truly heartbreaking, and I can’t begin to imagine the strength it takes to face that journey.

That’s why we’re asking for the support of all our past, present, and future customers to help us make even the smallest difference to the lives of children and families facing cancer.

Throughout September, we’re taking on the challenge of walking 60 miles, and for every mile I complete, I’ll personally donate £1. On top of that, throughout August and September, we’ll also donate £1 for every door we supply and fit.
