Terms and conditions;

By confirming a booking you are entering in to a legally binding contract and thereby agree to the following terms and conditions in its entirety. Guarantee of works:

K.Cleghorn & Sons only use the highest quality Trade products and paints sourced and supplied by ourselves at cost, we make no profit from the products we use and supply to our valued customers. All of our w

ork comes with a 2 year guarantee which covers the products we use, guarantee excludes general wear and tear, mis-use, accidental damage. Guarantee of works can only be given when using Trade paint supplied by ourselves. No guarantee of works can be given for none Trade paints ie retail paint off the shelf from a general public retail store as no dispute resolution can be made from a general public retail outlet. Work Specifications:

A detailed summary of works including all necessary works to be undertaken, paints/materials to be used to be completed and agreed by both parties prior to work commencing. Any work not included in the original Work Specification will incur additional charges. A new Work Specification may need to be drawn out and agreed by both parties where necessary. Customer Responsibilities:

Removal of small to medium sized furniture, including window blinds/curtains (where applicable) and all personal possessions, ornaments etc. to be completed by the customer prior to work commencing, no responsibility will be taken for the loss or damage to such items deemed necessary for removal. Larger furniture and surfaces (without obstructions such as ornaments) to be protected where necessary by ourselves and covered for loss or damage. Any personal possession/ornaments which have not been removed will be left in place and no attempt to cover or move the furniture and or surfaces will be made until the customer personally removes them. Working Hours:

Usual working hours are between 09:30-17:00
Working hours / times to be agreed by both parties depending on the criteria of contracted works. Booking Deposits:

Deposits are due to be paid at least 7 days before work commences to secure a booking date, deposits are none refundable if the booking is cancelled by the customer unless agreed by both parties in advance of the booking date. Materials/Paint Pricing:

Prices of paint and or materials are accurate at the time of the estimate being given but are subjective to price changes by the supplier/manufacturer. Prior notice will be given to any price changes after the quotation has been given before work commences. Rates:

Estimates / day rates to be decided based upon work criteria of contracted works. Labour Payment:

Payment for Labour due upon completion of contracted works unless otherwise agreed by both parties. Payment to be made by cash or direct bank transfer. Larger scale contracts will be broken down into phases and payment made after each phase has been completed. Invoices:

A request for payment invoice will be issued upon completion of contracted works. An invoice receipt will only be issued once payment has been completed in full. Late Payment Fee:

Payment is due upon completion of the contracted works unless otherwise agreed by both parties. Any overdue payments exceeding 5 days post completion of works will incur a £75.00 per week late payment charge. Failure to pay within 28 days will result in legal action being taken and additional court costs.
