⚠️ This is what a poorly refurbished phone can look like from the inside…
We opened this device and straight away found:
An extremely wonky and damaged battery
Missing screws
Damaged seals
Dirt and debris inside the phone
Overall poor quality previous work
From the outside, a refurbished phone can look perfect — but inside can be a completely different story.
Quality refurbishment should mean proper parts, proper seals, and proper reassembly, not just making it look good on the outside.

like I say, dont take my word for it!!!

Our crews were called out recently to a house fire in Diss - caused by an old mobile phone which had been put on to charge earlier that day.

The call came in the early hours of the morning and luckily the resident had working smoke alarms, which woke them up and gave them time to evacuate quickly.

The ground floor of the house was filled with smoke but the damage to the property was thankfully limited. When we spoke to the resident, they said they were trying to retrieve photos from the phone, which hadn't been used in two years. The charger used was also not the original one supplied with the phone.

This fire could have been much worse.

Please make sure you have working smoke alarms on all floors of your home and that you test them regularly 👆

Only use the charger that was supplied with your device or a replacement that has been recommended by the retailer 📱

And always charge when you are awake and at home - so that if a fire does break out, you can evacuate quickly and call us on 999! 🚒
