Vintage chest of drawers by Meredew c.1960. Made from fine cuts of nicely figured oak with solid handles. Clearly heavily influenced by the Scandinavian modern design movement with its sleek lines. Featuring 3 spacious drawers. Ideal for your bedroom, living room or hallway.

Condition: Excellent condition. Structurally perfect. Stripped, lightly sanded and repolished using osmo oil for a hardwearing and durable finish. All drawers run free. Original makers mark present to interior drawer ensuring authenticity. Superb restored examples.

Stunning vintage Norwegian Hunter armchair designed by Torbjorn Afdal for Bruksbo (Norway c.1960). Constructed from a hardwood beautifully detailed frame with supple green leather cushions. A chair celebrated for its simplicity and uncompromising craftsmanship. Boasting super striking form and very comfortable proportions. A great addition to your interior.

Torbjørn Afdal (1917-1999) was a Norwegian furniture designer. He graduated from the state Crafts & Art industry school in 1946 and at once worked at the design office Tegnekontoret Bruksbo AS.

Condition: A1 Excellent condition. Structurally perfect. Leather has been gently cleaned and nourished keeping it nice and supple (No damage or blemishes). Frame has been cleaned and oiled nourishing the wood. A fine collectors piece.
