Our Story
Brown & Baxter is a Home Interiors store found in the heart of the Imperial Quarter in Darlington that opened in July 2017.
Owned by Sam Gibbons and Helen Hawkins, Brown & Baxter is named after their mums and Sam and Helen have been great friends for many years.
Brown & Baxter is home to enticing ranges including classic and timeless pieces from India Jane, restored one-of-a-kind objects from all over the globe by Dutch company One World, Scandi goods from top interior design company Broste Copenhagen, modern, sustainable home goods by Canvas Home, and beautiful and imaginative home accessories from Voyage.
“The range offers an eclectic mixture of styles, which deliver on a unique bespoke look, but are also quality pieces with a good price point,” says Helen. “We also have a range of Brown & Baxter candles which are hand-poured especially for us in the UK.”
