23 years ago my beautiful sister died by su***de and I still find the phase committed su***de painful to hear and physically impossible to say, it sticks in my throat. Changing the language around this is so powerful and so important. Su***de is many many terrible things without the stigma shame and pain that implying it’s a crime creates. This phase needs erasing, sign the petition to have it removed from the Oxford English Dictionary. Link in bio ***depreventionday
