✨ A little reminder of why I love old things... ✨Before pic at the end.
This beautiful armoire almost didn't get a second chance.
When I found it, it was hidden beneath layers of old paint and years of wear. Many people would have passed it by, but I could see the potential waiting underneath.
After hours of sanding, painting, searching for the right key and carefully bringing it back to life, it has become a striking navy statement piece with warm gold shelving that catches the light beautifully.
I love furniture that carries its history with it. Not perfect. Not mass-produced. Just honest pieces with character and stories to tell.
This one has already found its new home, but I wanted to share the transformation with you because these are the projects that make my heart happy.

From forgotten to fabulous.

I couldn't resist this chair.
The shape was lovely, the wood had beautiful character, and I knew it deserved a second chance. I've reupholstered it in a stunning Clarke & Clarke fabric featuring fantastical birds and exotic foliage in rich blues, teals and vibrant orange.

To complete the look, I've also made two coordinating feather-filled cushions, one 18" x 18" and one 30cm x 40cm.
I love finding pieces that have already lived a life and giving them a fresh chapter. There is something so satisfying about taking a well-made chair and turning it into a statement piece once again.

Honest Vintage & the Beauty of Textiles That Have Been Loved for Generations.

I've always been drawn to old textiles. There is something special about pieces that have been used, cared for and cherished over many years.

The softness, the gentle fading and the little signs of age all tell a story. For me, that's what honest vintage is all about – not perfection, but character and history.
These vintage eiderdowns are among my favourite pieces. Each one is unique, beautifully made and full of the charm that only comes with time.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall at Otley Agricultural Show this weekend.
Whether you bought something, took a card, had a chat, or simply said lovely things about the pieces — it honestly meant such a lot.
There was so much kindness, encouragement and appreciation for the vintage textiles, cushions and collected pieces, and we came away feeling very grateful (and very tired!). ✨
