Saggy bottom!
No body wants a saggy bottom - well not on their dining room chairs!
If the top fabric and stuffing is good, some repairs can be done from the bottom . Webbing replaced and springs retied made these lovely traditional dining chairs comfortable again.

Not everything needs to be a complete restoration and can be repaired.

I’m so excited to share that my website is officially live!
It’s a space where you can explore the services I offer, learn more about what I do, and see the possibilities of transforming and improving upholstered furniture through reupholstery. You’ll find a gallery of my work, details about my services, a little about me and my upholstery journey, and a contact form where you can get in touch to discuss a project you have in mind.
On the events page you can see the craft fairs and makers’ markets I will be attending this year, where I showcase some of my work and will have a selection of footstools, chairs and ottomans, cushions, and bean pads available for sale.

Lovely little bedroom chair with the seat restored and reupholstered in a beautiful Warner House fabric.

Latest transformation - a fabric refresh for this Parker Knoll 720 Penshurst armchair. I love doing these iconic British wingbacks. They were developed from the 1950s through the 1980s, featuring a high, comfortable back, durable, hardwood construction and tension sprung seat.
There’s usually one or two available on market place at a bargain price if you’re looking for a classic comfortable piece for your home. They look great reupholstered and the choice of fabric design and texture is endless.

I have a rather lovely large footstool with Oak stained Queen Anne legs available for reupholstering. This lovely piece can be upholstered in a fabric of your choice. (Sample books available to view in the workshop)

3 months of work to rebuild and restore these beautiful antique Club chairs. Probably originating from the 1920’s and known for their heavy , solid frames and distinct curves they have been labour of love.

Another great year in the workshop. 2025 has been a year of beautiful antique chairs , bespoke ottomans and sunshine chairs . Looking forward to 2026 when I’ll be adding a little fabric sample room to the workshop. Now booking work for March so please get in touch if you have a project in mind.

The beast is starting to resemble a chair again.
The back has been stuffed, stitched and covered in calico. A morning of webbing the seat …and now on to the mamouth seat springs

This is my last stock piece to sell this year...a one of a kind refurbished tub chair. Refurbished and reupholstered in monochrome star with gold piping.
