Inspiration to change my career from charity administrator to gardener and garden designer really comes from one of my favourite characters in Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings: Sam Gamgee, who is a gardener and from the work itself which in so many ways is a love song to Nature. Having complet

ed my training (although gardening is a vocation where learning is a constant), I embarked with the aim of creating real gardens that clients will enjoy for years to come. I hope you will enjoy following my progress as I help clients uncover the hidden poetry of their outdoor space.
