By far developing this product has taken me the longest time and effort. Research, sourcing the original (As a benchmark), Trim rivets, press studs, cutting tools, grooving tools and the perfect leather.

E30 Leather Key Case.

Once upon a time if you had purchased the BMW 3 series in the 80's - 90's you would of most likely got several keys and a key case. Over the decades the original cases got perished or lost, hence you hardly ever see any originals. If you were to browse through the parts manual you will come to realized the original cases were rectangular as depicted (The reproduced case tends me to be curved almost looking nothing like the original).

E30 interiors has gone to great lengths and successfully reproduced the most accurate example of the original with an OEM+ touch, the size and shape is down to the exact millimetre.

The cut work of the leather is done with precision along side with an additional groove going along the edge of the case giving it more definition. The gun metal press stud and binding rivet have been smoothly finished making it more robust then the original plastic rivets.

The Leather:
In short tanning is the process of how leather is persevered, the process used here to make the leather is complex using both chrome and veg tannins in order to get a close match to the e30 leather interior. The key case can only be made from a particular part of the leather hide limiting the number that can be produced
from one hide.

Fitting:

The case will fit all types of e30 keys as it comes with a 10mm and 15mm rivet pole, making it possible to fit various sizes.

This is the Leather cover for the CENTER LOWER area of the seat. (It can be used on the driver or passenger seat).

We have been working incredibly on this product which has been developed over years and years of trial and error. We can now be confident that you will be satisfied with these covers.

A great deal of research and development on the leather has allowed us to achieve the best OEM leather. The quality is felt in both the weight and the making, carefully piercing the leather embedding the thread evenly.

Do you have a leather interior which worn or ripped on the bolster or maybe you just want a partial retrim look.

Leather:
This is a special type of leather made directly by people in control of the leather tanneries (Rather than the traditional leather suppliers). Almost 40 years have gone by since BMW produced the leather you see today in your e30, but hardly any modern-day leather matches the original. This is due to the leather making process being more based on delivering quantity and removing natural tanning processes with a chemical-based chromium process. Hence modern-day auto leather does not crack, smell or even develop a patina like leather did once upon a time.

Here you have best of both worlds, it look’s like an e30 leather, it feels like an e30 leather.. it probably is an e30 leather. The black gloss is well balanced with your existing interior; no texture or grain exactly like you see it today. This leather is Italian by origin but processed here in the UK.

Hello E30 people - hope everyone had a nice break.

Armrest problem solved, I guess everyone here can agree e30's are terrible when it comes to resting the arm. typically I fiddle around when driving but my arm are always suspended.

This is a Lotus white interior done for a customer. Details are often seen in the fine piping and shaped bolsters, stitch detail is as per OEM.

Fairly excited for this year as I am working directly with the leather tanneries and not just leather suppliers.
