There’s something quietly satisfying about working with your hands—shaping raw wood into something functional, lasting, and beautiful. We’ve been handcrafting furniture for over thirty years now, and while tools have evolved and styles come and go, the heart of the craft remains the same. At Celfiderw Oakencraft, we’re known for crafting high-quality, fully bespoke kitchens and furniture each one made to order and built to last. While we proudly serve clients across the UK, our work has also found homes in Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East. We’ve had the honour of taking on national commissions for the arts as well, projects that reflect both our craftsmanship and creative versatility. These days, we’ve grown into a dedicated team of cabinet makers, full-time designers, and skilled furniture finishers. I stay closely involved in the day-to-day running of the business—overseeing each project and design, and making sure I get to know every customer and the unique details of every commission we take on. By doing this, I feel I’m able to maintain the benchmark quality I’ve built over decades of hands-on work, while also preserving the artisanal, handcrafted, and personal feel that defines everything we create in our workshop and stand for within our industry.

We are only selling this kitchen because we are revamping our showroom display. It is in good condition and has been built to a very high standard.

Estimated replacement cost: £25,000

The sale includes:
• Handcrafted kitchen cabinetry
• Granite worktops

• All associated fitted components shown/included in the display

The kitchen will remain assembled until a sale has been agreed and payment received, after which it will be carefully dismantled ready for collection.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic young person to join our family-run business near Corwen and learn the craft of making bespoke cabinetry and furniture.

No previous experience is necessary — we’re looking for someone who is:

🔨 Practical and eager to learn
🪵 Interested in woodworking and craftsmanship
👀 Has a good eye for detail
🔢 Has good numerical skills
💻 Comfortable with computers and technology
🤝 Reliable, hardworking and enjoys being part of a team

You’ll learn traditional woodworking skills alongside modern machinery and technology, creating bespoke kitchens and furniture from start to finish.

We are a Welsh-speaking team, so the ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to learn a craft, build a career and grow with our business.

Bespoke Oak Under-Stairs Doorway – Listed Property, Wales
Crafted specifically for this beautiful listed Welsh home, this bespoke solid oak under-stairs doorway has been designed to complement the property’s historic character while introducing timeless elegance and practicality.
Made from premium European oak, the doorway follows the natural sweep of the staircase with a handcrafted angled panel, creating a seamless architectural feature rather than simply enclosing the space beneath the stairs.
