How To Stencil β¬
β¨ Quick tips for stencilling furniture
π« Prep your surface first
Clean thoroughly and make sure your paint is fully dry before applying your stencil.
π« You will need -
β’ Stencil
β’ Low tack tape
β’ Chalk mineral paint
β’ Dense stencil brush or sponge
β’ Kitchen towel
β’ Top coat to seal π€
π« Secure your stencil in place with low tack tape so it doesnβt move while applying paint.
π« Dip your stencil brush lightly into the paint and dab off the excess onto kitchen towel first.
Less paint is best to avoid bleed through β¨
π« Using a gentle dabbing motion, build up the colour slowly rather than applying too much paint at once.
π« Carefully peel back the stencil while the paint is still slightly wet.
π« Leave to dry fully before sealing with your chosen top coat π€

Less paint on your brush gives the cleanest stencil finish π
