My new body of work is underway with this first painting called: Raven Over Happisburgh
These photos don't show the entire painting, which is now finished, the sea is also in it and this church will sadly have to be demolished in about 20 to 25 years before it slips dramatically and violently into the sea. Such is life, the sea claims what it wants, nature is a powerful force, beautiful and dangerous, giving and taking but reliably there.

There is beauty in this destruction of land but also sadness at its loss. A moment in time captured in a painting. And a poignant reminder of man's ability to achieve a great feat of engineering that will ultimately come tumbling down through wind and rain and cliff erosion at nature's will to remind us who is actually in charge here!

Talk about Art imitating life... this is life imitating Art.
I painted my Blackbird standing on a golden globe in 2017. I'd never seen the like before, it came from my imagination. Until today, when this beauty stood on top of my outside light, globe like in shape. Its the image I chose for my Positive Energy Kwest cards.
