What are the Hottest Trends in Hotel & Restaurant Design in 2024?
We sat down with Scarlett, one of Harp Design's brilliant lead designers, to get the inside scoop on the latest design trends sweeping the hospitality industry. From colour palettes to fabric choices, Scarlett spills the beans:
1. Colour Trends:
Neutral Elegance: It all depends on what type of property you are looking at. At the moment I think that neutral colours including browns and creams as well as navy are very popular.
2. Fabric Revival:
Back to the '80s: Nostalgia is in the air! People are starting to resort back to more of the 80s styles. Expect to see playful patterns, geometric motifs, and a touch of retro flair.
Botanic Beauty: Nature-inspired fabrics are making a comeback. From lush botanical prints to leafy patterns, these textiles infuse spaces with organic energy.
3. Finding the Trends:
Social Media: I find new trends by keeping up to date with social media and looking out for the newest fabric styles and colours.
4. Personal Design Traits:
Greenery: I feel at Harp Design we tend to be quite diverse when it comes to designing, though throughout every project we try to incorporate greenery as it can bring life into the space.
