🦠 Following our last post, this is a result that we have received following the respiratory PCR we had carried out for our client.
This PCR test that was performed for Mycoplasma indicates a moderate/high presence of the bacteria.
If the symptoms persist (as the results are interpreted as an active positive result), these birds will possibly need treating with the appropriate antibiotic.
The Chlamydia test came back as negative. 🦠

We are given full veterinary reports via a reputable avian vet.
The bacteriology and PCR tests are carried out via a UK registered laboratory.

Mycoplasma testing available, this test looks for the CQ value, this will tell you if the infection is present, and give you an idea of where the CQ value is, either historic, or at a rate where it could cause problems whilst racing (respiratory).
Chlamydia testing this is also available, a big problem in racing, and also a zoonotic infection.
