Is your Mirka Abranet suddenly dulling off quickly? The difference may be you had been using Abranet Ace before unknowingly.

What’s the difference between Abranet and Abranet Ace?

Abranet is made of aluminium oxide, which has a sharper initial cut but tends to break apart quite easily and will dull off a lot quicker if being used on harder materials.

Abranet Ace uses a ceramic particle which is much harder as a fragment, these smaller fragments chip off as it wears, so it will last a lot longer on hard woods and surfaces.

If you don’t like using net based products, we highly recommend using Mirka Iridium.

It has the longevitiy of Abranet Ace but also a coating which repels dust so you don’t get a dust build up. It cuts nicely for a very long time. We believe it’’s the best quality paperbacked abrasive on the market.
