Two top tips to care for your worktops.

Our kitchens take a battering especially at this time of year and in the fluster of hosting for friends and family its easy to forget to treat your worktops with care, meaning you might just get to the end of the festive season and find your worktops in rather a sorry state!

Here are two easy tips to help you keep your surfaces in top condition all year round:

- All worktops need to be treated with care -this means NEVER cutting directly on your surfaces or putting hot pans on them! (Yes even if they're solid surface) You should always use cutting boards and trivets to protect your surfaces. Remember the higher
the finish (the shinier it is) the more prone to scratching it will be.

- Follow the manufacturers care guides after installation - we can quickly fall out of the care routine with our new surfaces. Some worktops such as solid surface come with
specific products to be applied to help with the longevity of the worktop, if not then most manufactures provide care guides with recommend products to use as well as those to avoid.

Alternatively if your worktops are old and tired and well past being rejuvenated with proper care then it might be time to consider a new worktop. We are always happy to help! Whether you are looking to find one similar to what you have or something completely different, we have a huge range of choice.
