The Logo and Certificate Number are legal requirement in England but will possibly be used by retailers in Wales and Scotland although not needed by law. The dangers of burning waste wood such as wood pallets, old furniture, or painted wood treated timber should not be burnt on your multi-fuel or wood burning stove. All non Ready To Burn wood could possibly be to wet or contain wood preservatives, glue, paint, varnish and other organic compounds when burnt can emit dangerous fumes. These emissions are harmful to the environment your health and can also damage your multi-fuel and wood burning stove and your chimney.
