That feeling you get when your virtual assistant takes on the tasks you HATE!! 👇🏼

With a virtual assistant you go from STRUGGLING to SUPPORTED…

Here are just some of the areas I help my clients with:

➡️ Interior design mood boards
➡️ Furniture sourcing for projects
➡️ Creating budget sheets
➡️ Ordering samples
➡️ Liaising with vendors
➡️ Project managing
➡️ Drafting / drawing up floor plans and elevations
➡️ Social media management
➡️ Blog post writing
➡️ Website maintenance and support
➡️ Other writing tasks
➡️ General admin

so much more!

I support all my clients with whatever crazy idea they come up with next, and they feel confident that I can work closely with them to execute it.

Bringing on a virtual assistant allows you to feel SUPPORTED when you need it most ✨

Ready to be fully supported with the backend of your business and focus on designing for your clients?

I am a huge fan of Michelle Obama. She’s inspirational, stylish and an absolute ICON 👑! Having read almost all of her books now, I can honestly say that she speaks a lot of truth, and this quote is no different.

Your story is something you will always have. No matter what the future holds, you will always have the story that got you to where you are right now. And it’s worth sharing!

Telling your story is a great marketing tool that every interior designer should be using. Whether you’re telling the story of what inspired you to start your business, what inspired you to pursue interior design as your career, or telling the story of one of your projects - storytelling is extremely important.

Not sure how to tell your story? Look out for my posts over the next few weeks when I’ll be sharing mine! Or why not drop me a DM? I can help!

I’M BACK! 🌟 Do you remember me?

After the longest time neglecting this Instagram account- I’m finally back. In case you forgot - it’s Jess, the founder of The Interior Socialista (previously Jessica Elizabeth VA) - lover of neutrals, texture and helping fellow interior designers flourish with their businesses.

I have been completely focused on my client’s businesses for the last 18 months, and my social media has taken a back seat. While I LOVE what I do, it’s about time I have some fun and revive this account!

Here’s a little recap of everything that’s been happening:

✨ I have helped over 10 interior designers by supporting their businesses, through social media, blog post, general admin help and general interior design project help.

✨ I’ve focused on my health more than ever. The saying goes, “health is wealth”, and that couldn’t be more true! Without your health, you have nothing.

✨ I met the love of my life, and moved in with him 8 months later… 🫣👀

✨ Spent a long weekend in Edinburgh - what a gorgeous city!

✨ & so much more!

So what can you expect from this account now that I’m back?! Lots of interior design business tips and advice, an inside look at what it’s really like to be a virtual assistant, my inspirations and FAQs!
I can’t wait to catch up with you - what have you been up to?! Let me know in the comments 👇🏼

Happy New Year! In an effort to "practice what I preach", I'm back on socials ready to get going! It's been a busy first week back but I'm thankful for the routine. ⠀
Does anyone else feel like the last year has FLOWN by?! 😳😰 In just a few months time it will be two years since launching my Virtual Assistance business, and back then - I could have only dreamed for my “get through the pandemic plan” to actually materialise into a full time income. Yet here we are! ⠀
I couldn’t be more grateful to each and every client, follower and connection I’ve made. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for being here, and supporting my business. ⠀
It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m super excited to see where 2022 takes me! ⠀
Enough of the soppiness - how was your Christmas and New Year?! ⠀
I hope you’ve all had the most incredible time off with friends and family ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When was the last time you paused and got creative? Part of being a designer is being creative and coming up with new ideas, but aside from being creative because it’s your “job”. When have you last taken a break and really given yourself time to get creative?
Put your phone on airplane mode, take out a sketchbook and pen, and start sketching.

The January blues are really starting to kick in now… Here in the UK it’s been snowing for the last few days (with rain due all this week!) - the cold weather is really taking its toll now. Hopefully we can get away on holiday later this year! Bali is definitely at the top of my list for the ultimate relaxation retreat… 💆🏽‍♀️ Where would you love to venture to when we can travel again? 🤔✈️

Do you have a blog section on your website? If not - you need one! It’s not only incredibly important for increasing your SEO score (ranking on Google) but crucial to showcasing your industry knowledge and expertise. SWIPE ➡️ for the full run down!

1️⃣ Easily Drive Traffic to your Website! We all want more visitors to our websites right? More website visitors = more potential customers or clients. Blog posts are an easy marketing tool to drive more traffic to your site.

2️⃣ Increase Your SEO Score - something I’m sure we would ALL LOVE to achieve in 2021! How amazing would it be to rank No.1 - or even just the first Google search results page?! Make it happen with well written and keyword heavy blog posts.

3️⃣ Become an Industry Leader 🔝 I know you’re an industry leader, but do your website viewers know that? Adding a blog section on your website with valuable and informative blog posts on subjects relevant to your industry helps you to build trust with readers (A.K.A. Potential customers / clients)

4️⃣ Enrich Customer & Client Relationships - blog posts help you to deepen the relationship you have with customers or clients. They will be able to get to know you and your business. TOP TIP - always respond to blog post comments, just like you would on social media!

Those four reasons ⬆️ should be enough to motivate you to start (or focus time) on the blog section of your website… If you need any help in writing highly informative and valuable blog post content for your website - please reach out to me via DM!

*Save this post for the next time you lack blogging motivation 💪🏼
