As a long standing customer I knew I was in for a treat when Peter asked me to pop round for a chat. Peter and Trish commissioned me to make 2 wine display cabinets. It had to be a classic style to complement their beautiful Georgian home. We decided on solid walnut finished with oil and wax. A final touch of silk to show off their favourite wines. This was a joy to design and make.

I was commissioned by Clare to make the best storage solution in a small spare bedroom. Clare had a style in mind and we worked together to design the fitted bed, incorporating storage for a fold up bed. Under the bed are drawers, cupboards and bookshelves that fit into the alcoves around the bed.

Hannah and Dave wanted Scandi style fitted bedroom furniture utilising the space in the eaves. I worked with this information and our journey started. I used the shape and features of the room to create storage without intruding too much on the footprint of the room. I think the clean lines and light colour have achieved the Scandi look.

I was commissioned to design and make a library office. An interesting project in a contemporary cubic style. The customer added a bit of a twist, they requested a discreet door through to another office.

I was commissioned to make a large wardrobe to match an existing piece of furniture. I needed to use different techniques to overcome a number of technical issues.
Mortice, tenon and dovetail joints were used on the frame and drawers. Internal linings were veneered with fiddle back cut sycamore and french polished to highlight the stunning grain. To match the existing furniture I used some texture techniques and metallic paint. Overall a challenging yet satisfying piece to create.

I was commissioned to make a fitted wardrobe. We decided on a Georgian style with a classic feel internally. It was made in maple timber and painted to the customers preference. Internally we lined it in a rich luxurious walnut.

I was asked by a good customer of mine who I have done restoration for if I would be interested in making a bridge. Variety is the spice of life, so I set about the design. It’s made from green oak with no glue. I slightly distressed the wood losing all sharp edges. Over the coming years it will mellow to a silvery grey colour and be timeless.

I was asked to make an oak wardrobe and chest of drawers for a child's bedroom. It was a straightforward job until I discovered it was in a 16th century cottage with wobbly walls and a small hatch for a door. Hope you like it?
