📣 is launching a new hub for the cyber and technology community at Patch .

📍We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Patch and CyNam, with CyNam establishing Patch Gloucester as a new home for its activity in the city.

💭 This builds on the success of the inaugural Tech Futures Summit at Patch Gloucester in spring, which brought together leaders from GCHQ, microsoftuk, , Tech Nation, and the University of Gloucestershire.

💡CyNam will establish a base at Patch Gloucester, becoming part of the local community, alongside a programme of public events, workshops, and gatherings for the cyber and technology community.

💻 This includes Founder Fundamentals sessions for early-stage founders, as well as an all-day AI event during Gloucestershire Tech Week.

🤝 Together, Patch and CyNam will strengthen connections across Gloucestershire’s cyber and technology community, bringing founders, innovators, businesses, and institutions into closer collaboration.

It was a joy to kick off our partnership with Creative Founders UK at their very first event at Patch in last month ✍️.

Creative Founders UK is a new curated space for creatives entrepreneurs across Essex to sharpen their thinking, grow stronger businesses and build meaningful connections through in-person events and creative activations.

Huge congratulations to the founders behind it: from , , Harry Milton from , and Joshua Ayettey from . We’re excited to support this brilliant initiative as it grows 🌱.

A few weeks back, we hosted our third networking breakfast at Patch in , all about personal brand and making who you are work for you.

Over coffee and breakfast, the room filled with people building something of their own, swapping ideas and working out what their own name could do for them.

We were delighted to host the inaugural Bournemouth The Marketing Meetup event, where Ben Jayston from Thisisgain took to the stage to break down the SEO strategies that work for small businesses, sparking some fantastic conversations.

We love hosting nights like this because they capture exactly what Patch is built for 👉 creating space for ambitious people to come together, get away from their desks, and have the kinds of conversations that help businesses grow.

Our Saturday was a celebration of local creativity as The Hive Zine Fair took over Patch in .

The building was full of life as local artists shared handmade zines, underground comics, live portraits, and stamp carving.

With and leading craft workshops and keeping us fuelled, the day reminded us exactly what the high street is for 👉 a place where people come together to create and connect.

Where do you do your best thinking?

For some of us, it’s head down at a desk, noise-cancelling headphones on, no interruptions. For others, it’s the complete opposite - a conversation that sparks something, a coffee with a fellow member, a change of scenery at just the moment.

At Patch, we’ve got quiet focus areas for when you need to get your head down, open coworking studios for when you work better around other people, breakout spaces for when a idea needs room to breathe, and tea points for when the best thinking happens over a brew.
