We completed an office clearance this week.

It’s one of the parts of the job that doesn’t get talked about much, but it’s often just as important as supplying new furniture.

Clearing out existing desks, chairs and storage properly makes it much easier for businesses to move, refit or start again with a clean space.

Not every chair looks this elegant when it’s stripped back to the frame.

This is a Herman Miller Aeron in the workshop — one of the most well-known ergonomic chairs ever made.

Seeing a chair like this without the mesh and components really highlights the engineering that goes into it. The frame, mechanism and materials are designed to handle years of daily use.

It’s also a good reminder that the parts you don’t see often make the biggest difference to how a chair performs over time.

Sitting in it for 8 hours is something else entirely.

One of the advantages of having a physical showroom is being able to try different options properly before making a decision.

It makes more difference than most people expect.

Pop in and try our all of our chairs as many times as you like. We are open 0830-1730 weekdays and 1000-1300 on Saturdays.
