One day I came home from work and my 11yr old son had written a business proposal out on A4 paper. How could I resist !
This is our first project a refurbished side table.
We’ve spent many hours designing, sanding, painting, collecting pennies, cleaning pennies, polishing copper and this is the result !
Starting from the bottom the timber has been stripped back and painted with a copper coloured paint. We have added copper trim to both sides which is fixed with polyurethane glue and also held in place with copper dome head nails.
The top has been layered with pennies and resin added to a fine finish.
We think it’s turned out great and we’ve got some great ideas for the next projects so keep an eye out for us .
