Just finished this 1930's book cabinet. I tried so so hard to keep the original wood, I wanted to just strip off the orangey stain but sadly it was more damaged than I realised and I ending up breaking it more by trying to fix it 😞 I'm quite happy with how it's turned out though. Think I must be ready for Halloween already, it's giving me spooky vibes 👻 will head down to The Cow Shed Collective later to put it in the shop

Just finished this beautiful cabinet - didn't really want to paint it as it was 1930s and lovely wood, but very thin veneer over chipboard which was bursting through in too many places. Big thanks to Pamela Brinsmead for the licence of the very striking art ❤️

One of my favourite things to do is rescue unwanted pieces of furniture headed for the dump. This particular piece was not pretty - a big hunk of chipboard really, but very sturdy and spacious and would be a really great and useful piece of furniture. Still curing in my shed at the moment, but will be available soon to purchase at The Cow Shed Collective or message the page - £95 💕
